GECCo provides local solutions to city-wide challenges and does so by providing a vehicle for Development Trusts in Glasgow to come together and provide high quality, effective and value for money local service delivery.
As a collective of organisations, we operate 100's of different activities and services per week for all ages, genders and economic status. The following provides examples of the range of activities delivered:

Childcare
A wide array of different services that independently are achieving great results for people on a local level. By coming together delivering can still be independently adapted to the community needs but collectively funded, recognising that every community is different but that funding can be jointly sourced.
Each of the services can also support NHS, Scottish Government, Glasgow city council, Department of Work and Pensions and other government agencies to achieve their objectives.
GECCo provides the opportunity for the above to reach 20+ neighbourhoods in Glasgow but funding just one body.
The third sector can be a slightly messy set-up due to the diverse nature of the work and creative developments. With over 30 DTs in Glasgow, GECCo could provide an effective vehicle for opportunities that strengthen each organisation and the
